What No-Log Means at PhasmaVPN

We do not log your browsing activity, DNS queries, or traffic content. PhasmaVPN works without any user account: we never ask for your name, email address, or phone number. To make the VPN work we process a minimal set of technical data, described below. This page explains precisely what is and is not recorded.

What We Never Collect

  • Browsing history or visited websites
  • DNS queries
  • Traffic content or data payloads
  • Your name, email address, or phone number: PhasmaVPN has no user accounts
  • Per-user bandwidth consumption
  • Any data for advertising, marketing, tracking, or profiling

What We Do Collect

Only the technical data needed to run the VPN is processed:

  • When you connect: the app sends our API your WireGuard public key, the server country you chose, and your protocol options, and the server assigns a session IP address for the tunnel. While connected, the app sends a small keepalive signal so the server knows the session is still active. When you disconnect, the session is removed from the server.
  • If the app crashes: a technical crash report (error message, device model, OS version) is sent to Sentry. It contains no browsing data.

Your Keys and Data Stored on Your Device

The app creates a WireGuard key pair on your device. The private key never leaves your device: only the public key is sent to our API to establish the tunnel. Your app settings (language, protocol, kill switch, DNS choice) and the key pair are stored in local app storage only.

Third Parties

We do not sell or share your data with anyone. Session data is stored only on our own servers. The only external service we use is Sentry, for technical crash reports, used solely to find and fix bugs.
